Conwy councillors give ‘Surf Snowdonia’ the green light

Councillors at Conwy Council Planning Authority last night signed-off a multi-million pound conversion of a former aluminium factory site into surf attraction ‘Surf Snowdonia’, which is set to be Europe’s first Wavegarden project.

The attraction will include a Wavegarden lagoon which creates the longest artificial surfing wave in existence and technology which stimulates ideal surfing conditions for professional surfers.
