JLL promoted Mary Margaret Murphy to development management team lead for JLL’s Atlanta Project and Development Services group. In her new role, she will guide the team to deliver owner’s representative project management and advisory services for ground-up construction and major renovation projects across the Southeast, the commercial real estate services company said.
During Murphy's 11 years at JLL she has led several high-profile developments. She served as project director for Canterbury Court’s $200 million senior living expansion in Atlanta's Buckhead district and the 350,000-square-foot Georgia Tech Research Institute Cobb South Campus redevelopment. She also has managed numerous projects for the University System of Georgia Board of Regents and is currently managing an expansion of the Atlanta Botanical Garden that's set to begin later this year.
Matthew Seliger has joined Avison Young as the firm’s Houston-based principal and market leader. He will lead the brokerage’s strategic growth initiatives and expand its brokerage, property management, project management, and valuation services and lead recruitment efforts to support continued growth, Avison Young said. He joined the brokerage firm from Stream Realty Partners, where he served as vice president. He also previously represented office and industrial tenants at Transwestern.
Ben Bruner joined Colliers as a new senior vice president in Boca Raton, Florida. He brings over 15 years of experience advising occupiers, investors and property owners across the industrial, office and retail sectors. All told, he has completed over $500 million in lease and sales transactions. Bruner joined Colliers from Bruner Group, an independent commercial real estate firm he founded in 2019.
Los Angeles-based Priority Capital added Matt Lorimer as a new senior vice president. Here, he will lead debt and equity placement efforts, manage client and capital provider relationships, and oversee the structuring and execution of transactions across asset classes and markets the firm is active in, the firm said. He joins with over a decade of experience in real estate finance and development.
Cushman & Wakefield added Drew Morris as the firm’s executive managing director of its Houston office tenant representation group. In his new role, Morris, who joined from Savills, will continue to specialize in creating and implementing real estate solutions for clients and their portfolios, Cushman said. During his career that spans over 30 years, he has closed more than 500 transactions involving a total of 11 million square feet of commercial space.
Stream Realty Partners added Hayden Eaves as an executive vice president and Kristen Sullivan as a vice president in the national commercial real estate firm’s recently opened downtown Los Angeles office. The two joined Stream from Avison Young, with Eaves bringing 30 years of experience advising corporate occupiers, financial institutions and property owners on real estate strategy;
Sullivan brings a decade of experience advising corporate occupiers on multimarket real estate strategies, long-range planning initiatives and complex lease transactions. Senior brokerage coordinator Jill Bartolome joined Eaves and Sullivan in their move to Stream.
South Florida real estate owner-operator Basis Industrial appointed Anthony Scavo as its CEO and managing partner. In his new role, Scavo will lead the company’s overall vision, investment strategy and long-term growth initiatives, Basis said. The firm also appointed Nisha Patel as chief operating officer. In her new role, Patel will focus on asset management, property management and legal departments and lead day-to-day operational execution for the firm, Basis said. She joined the firm from Levin Management Corp.
