HSBC eyes Canary Wharf office in face of desk shortages

HSBC Holdings is in talks to lease as much as 180,000 square feet of offices close to its being-vacated headquarters in London’s Canary Wharf, according to Bloomberg, in a transaction that would likely be seen as a poster child for corporates cutting back too aggressively on offices in the face of the working-from-home phenomenon.
