Wells Fargo to spearhead giant $2bn financing on Lone Star’s US loan portfolio

Wells Fargo is spearheading a giant $2bn debt financing package behind Lone Star Funds' distressed US real estate loans bought from Anglo Irish, CoStar News has learned.

Lone Star won five of the eight pools of US real estate loans with a book value of $5.1bn in a fiercely-competitive auction in which the three winners, including Wells Fargo and JP Morgan Chase, were told last Thursday.
