Minerva chairman and non-execs resign

Minerva chairman Oliver Whitehead resigned on Friday afternoon following confirmation that AREA Property Partners and Delancey's cash offer for the company had been declared unconditional in all respects.

Whitehead joined Minerva as chairman designate from Alfred McAlpine, where he was chairman, in July 2006. His resignation is accompanied by those  of non-executive directors John Matthews, Daniel Kitchen and Martin Pexton all with immediate effect.
