Siemens Corp., the U.S. subsidiary of German conglomerate company and the largest industrial manufacturing company in Europe, Siemens AG, has begun construction on a $300 million expansion of a pivotal manufacturing and R&D hub utilized by Siemens Healthineers, Siemens AG's separately managed healthcare business and a leader in healthcare technology.
