South West England is the largest of the nine official regions in England and includes eight cities: Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Gloucester Plymouth, Salisbury, Truro and Wells. The region has been experiencing strong office demand over the past seven years, which coupled with a dearth of new supply and rise in office conversions to alternative uses, has caused vacancies to compress. But recent performance has differed across the eight cities, with current vacancy rates ranging from less than 1% to close to 8%.
