CoStar 2019/2020 Review: A year to forget for some but there is plenty to play for in 2020

It has been a year that won't be looked back on with a great deal of fondness by many in UK real estate - take a bow in particular those working in retail real estate - beset as it was by political turbulence and significant structural change that is still playing out across high streets, office centres and industrial economies. That said there were plenty of success stories, stellar deals, and innovative answers to emerging challenges. And in 2020 there is a lot to play for as some political clarity is emerging, and rapid changes in the sector continue to create opportunity.
