Newmark has hired Whitney Bowrin as a partner in its London offices team.
Bowrin specialises in lease consultancy and has more than a decade of property experience. She moves from central London office agency Bluebook, where she was promoted to partner in October 2024.
She has experience supporting landlords and tenants across rent review disputes, lease renewals and lease restructures, with a "strong track record of delivering strategic asset management initiatives that enhance investment value", Newmark said.
"Whitney also brings deep expertise in dispute resolution, serving on the RICS President’s Panel as an Independent Expert, alongside undertaking expert witness roles to help clients navigate the costs, risks and complexities of the process," the firm added.
Before joining Bluebook, Bowrin worked as a surveyor for BGL Partners between 2017-19, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Newmark partner Fergus Jagger said in a statement: "Whitney’s depth of expertise in lease consultancy and dispute resolution will be a significant asset to our London offices team.
"Her appointment strengthens our capability and supports our continued focus on expanding our lease consultancy offering across London. We are delighted to welcome her to Newmark."
