Shari Mohabir joined Savills as the real estate services firm’s corporate managing director at its Minneapolis office. She plans to use her more than 20 years of experience in advising top executives on how to align their property strategy with broader business objectives.
Savills said Mohabir has worked across industries on growth and transformation, including areas involving finance, risk, technology, supply chain issues, human resources and mergers and acquisitions. She's involved in the Women’s Health Leadership Trust, Women Business Leaders, Financial Executives International and Special Olympics Minnesota, and previously served on the University of St. Thomas Executive Council and Strategic Advisory Board.
Southern California real estate veteran Dennis Borowsky joined real estate services firm JLL as senior vice president. With experience working in-house for retail developers and brokerage, Borowsky will focus on the property needs of owners and tenants throughout Orange County, Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. He will be based in the firm’s Irvine office, and joins after most recently working at Lockehouse Retail Group.
Craig Panzirer joined Rudin as the company's new senior vice president and head of office leasing. Reporting directly to co-CEO Michael Rudin, Panzirer is set to lead leasing strategy across the company's office portfolio spanning 8.6 million square feet, optimize tenant mixes and drive revenue, the firm said. With over three decades of experience, Panzirer joins from Global Holdings Management Group, and previously led leasing at Vornado's 10.5 million-square-foot PENN portfolio.
McCarthy Holdings appointed Dhruv Patel as the firm’s new president and chief operating officer, as Joe Jouvenal transitions into serving as the construction company’s chief technology officer. In his new role, Patel is responsible for strengthening alignment across McCarthy’s national and regional businesses, alongside executive oversight for core corporate functions. He originally joined McCarthy in 2013.
Atlanta’s Carter USA appointed former Major League Baseball player Gordon Beckham as a new senior vice president who joins from Kenco Residential. He has also occasionally served as an analyst for Chicago White Sox games. At Carter, Beckham will work alongside development principals John Mears and Haden Masterson to identify new opportunities for Varcity, the firm’s college campus-integrated senior housing platform.
Gresham Smith, a Nashville-based architecture, engineering and consulting firm announced a swath of promotions across the firm’s healthcare practice. Tampa-based Jude Wessels now serves as the firm’s senior vice president of client development, Nate Budd as business development leader and Carrie Kovacs as healthcare studio leader. Liz Chodosh, based in Jacksonville, was also promoted to healthcare studio leader.
LanCarte Commercial Real Estate promoted Brittany Doyle to senior vice president and retail team lead. In her new role, she will lead the firm’s retail initiatives and support continued growth across North Texas and surrounding markets, the Fort Worth-based firm said. Prior to joining LanCarte, she owned and operated her own firm.
Bennet Faloni joined Maven Commercial as a senior associate at the firm’s San Francisco headquarters. A specialist in office and industrial leasing and investment sales, Faloni represents landlords and tenants in office transactions and advises buyers and sellers throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area. He joins the team led by Dominic Morbidelli.
