Property consultancy Vail Williams has hired Alice Masterman as senior surveyor in the South Coast agency team.
Masterman works at the firm's Southampton and Portsmouth offices and is responsible for commercial agency work across the region. Her work will include leasehold and freehold acquisition and disposals for occupiers and landlords in the offices, industrial and retail property sectors.
Prior to her property career, Masterman was a member of the British Sailing Team campaign for four years in the Olympics women’s class, the 49er FX skiff. She is also a two-time Sailing World Championships bronze medallist in the 29er class.
She took her Master’s Degree alongside her sailing career and joined the property world in 2021, having most recently worked for Flude Property Consultants in the South East.
The recruit is also a member of the PropSail Committee, which organises property networking sailing regattas, and the RICS Matrics Committee, which is designed to support students, apprentices, trainees and the newly qualified as they move into the industry.
