Griffin-American Healthcare REIT III, Inc., a California-based real estate investment trust specializing in healthcare property acquisitions, acquired the 28,000-square-foot medical office building at 1651 Independence Ct. in Birmingham, AL from D1 Sports Training for $7.44 million, or approximately $266 per square foot.
