Amazon's plans to open a new sort facility in Canby, Oregon, is garnering plenty of attention regionally because of its scope and size. But the e-commerce titan has been growing and investing in the area for some time, with several other projects underway or soon to hit the construction pipeline. And when examining the map above visualizing the scale and strategic placement of its logistics centers in and around Portland, it is apparent Amazon is betting big on further population growth in the northwestern part of the state.
