CBRE replaces logistics leader who joins developer
CBRE promoted Will Pike to the position of president of its U.S. industrial and logistics capital markets practice. The brokerage said Pike, based in the firm’s Atlanta office, also now serves as leader of CBRE National Partners, a team of more than 100 dedicated industry professionals located in key regions nationwide.
Pike has been with CBRE for 21 years, handling dispositions totaling more than $50 billion across several property categories, and will continue to lead the company’s net-lease and corporate capital markets practices. He succeeds Chris Riley, who has been named chairman of Robinson Weeks Partners, an Atlanta-based industrial real estate development and investment firm.
With Riley's move to Robinson Weeks, that company said founders Ray Weeks and Forrest Robinson, who previously served as co-chairmen, will remain on the board and continue to be investors and serve on the firm's investment committee. David Welch remains president and CEO of Robinson Weeks.
Newmark taps research, engineering executives

Newmark said it made several executive appointments, including promoting Lisa DeNight to the role of managing director and head of North American industrial research. DeNight is a 15-year industry veteran who rejoined Newmark in 2019 after holding a senior research position at CBRE. New York-based Newmark said DeNight will lead all industrial research across the U.S., Canada and Latin America, where she will focus on Mexico.
Newmark also hired industry veterans Kevin Boltz as senior vice president of national engineering and Bryan Boldiszar as national director of engineering. Boltz previously oversaw engineering and inspection teams across the U.S. and Canada as senior managing director of the Americas at Cushman & Wakefield and also held roles at companies including Gates Corp., Cohesion and Transwestern. Boldiszar was previously an engineering director at Cushman & Wakefield and held previous positions at Transwestern and Newmark.
Colliers pursues Atlanta office leasing business
Kevin Driver joined Colliers as executive vice president of office leasing in its Atlanta office. Driver has 15 years of office leasing experience, handling more than 750 transactions spanning more than 4 million square feet.
Driver will team with current executive vice president Deming Fish as the company seeks to expand its office services in the region, Colliers said. Driver joined Colliers from Stream Realty Partners and earlier worked at CBRE.
Cushman & Wakefield expands industrial offerings

Cushman & Wakefield hired Adam Pastor as vice chair of the firm’s Industrial Advisory Group. The brokerage said Pastor, who's based in its Irvine office in Southern California, will focus on industrial portfolio sales, recapitalizations and joint-venture equity and financing for clients nationwide.
Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Pastor worked for 20 years at Eastdil Secured. He has completed more than $180 million worth of industrial transactions in his career. Cushman’s National Industrial Advisory Group handles transactions involving logistics, warehousing, manufacturing and related properties.
Vertical Cold Storage adds chief commercial officer

Vertical Cold Storage, a developer and operator of temperature-controlled distribution centers, named Jim Henderson as chief commercial officer. The Kansas City, Missouri-based company said Henderson reports to president and CEO West Hutchison. Henderson has more than 15 years of experience geared to temperature-sensitive supply chains and previously worked at companies including Consolidated Grain and Barge, International Shipholding Corp., Tropical Shipping and New Orleans Cold Storage.
Henderson has worked in global business areas such as ports, ocean freight and international trade. Vertical operates cold storage facilities in several regions, including Chicago, Dallas, Miami and Charlotte, North Carolina. The company is backed by real estate investment firm Platform Ventures.
