Washington, D.C.-Based Firm Follows Up Georgetown Plaza Disposition with Purchase of 2001 Penn Ave. for Nearly $108 Million

Local REIT Carr Properties kept the Washington, D.C. commercial real estate market on its toes this past week, following up the disposition of the Georgetown Plaza at 2233 Wisconsin NW for $26.85 million - which is subject to a long-term ground lease - with the acquisition of 2001 Pennsylvania Ave. for $107.75 million, or approximately $700 per square foot.
