It's not so easy to smell the coffee anymore in Mount Vernon, New York, since Barrie House Coffee & Tea Co. shuttered its roasting facility as the 90-year-old company wound down operations. But the roasting building has a future in the party business, as neighboring Westside Party Rentals purchased the property for its expansion.
