About 10 million people live in Los Angeles County, the nation's largest, and roughly 4.7 million are Hispanic. That population — more than twice as large as that of Harris County, Texas, the second largest — and its buying power, coupled with changed shopping and dining habits in the pandemic, is boosting investor demand for grocery stores catering to these communities and the shopping centers they anchor.
