CBRE expands asset management business; Colliers grows multifamily sales group, Stream Realty adds Texas tenant team

CBRE added Chris Doman to lead its U.S. asset management services within its property management business. Doman joined the firm after having founded and run two companies that provide asset management and development services for institutions and family offices. Previously, he worked for eight years at Tishman Speyer.

Former EQ Office CEO Lisa Picard also joined the team as a senior adviser. She has over 30 years of experience developing, managing and leading complex real estate investments. She led EQ Office, a Blackstone investment company focused on office that's now known as Perform Properties, for nearly five years.

The additions of Doman and Picard will allow CBRE to expand its asset management capabilities and optimize asset value across the firm’s investments, CBRE said.

Colliers expanded its Texas capital markets team, adding Matthew Pastrano to the group’s Dallas office as a senior vice president. The Texas native will focus on multifamily capital markets, the firm said. His experience spans construction, workforce housing and low-income housing tax credit, or LIHTC, assets. He previously served as the co-lead of CBRE’s Dallas private client and middle market division.

Stream Realty Partners added industry veterans Chris Oliver, David Guion and Trey Strake as vice chairmen in the firm’s Houston office. Albert Spiers also joined Stream Realty, as a vice president. The group, formerly with Cushman & Wakefield, brings over 90 years of combined experience, and will work alongside Lucian Bukowski, a managing director and vice chairman, to expand the firm’s tenant representation business.

Portman, a national developer based in Atlanta, hired Keith Benator as executive vice president of capital markets. In his new role, Benator will be responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing the firm’s debt and equity strategy across all business lines, Portman said. He joins from Jamestown. Over the course of his 20 year commercial real estate career, he has sourced and closed over $3 billion in deals across all asset types.

Tampa, Florida-based commercial real estate brokerage and insurance firm Franklin Street added Justin Anstey as a new managing director and head of institutional capital formation. With 20 years of experience, Anstey has completed over $3 billion in real estate deals spanning equity and debt over his career. He previously served as the head of capital markets for Stoneweg U.S.

New York City real estate law firm Rosenberg & Estis associate John Muldoon has been sworn in and admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Muldoon, who joined Rosenberg & Estis in 2023, is a member of the firm’s litigation department.

Partners Real Estate added Jon Carrasco as senior vice president of research in Houston. In his new role, Carrasco will lead and expand the firm's Texas research division and enhance the market intelligence the firm delivers to brokers and clients across the state, Partners said. With over 20 years of experience, Carrasco previously led research teams at CBRE and Madison Marquette. He joined Partners from Avison Young, where he served as global lead for business intelligence.
