Of the 11,800 new office-based jobs to be created in Cambridgeshire from 2019-24, 6,700 of them will be in the professional, scientific and technical sector, according to Oxford Economics. The fact that the sector accounts for more than half of the new office-using employment may not be surprising given the market’s role as an epicentre for scientific and technical research.
