UK big box availability has roughly doubled over the past three years to 80 million square feet across more than 400 warehouses. This has been driven by some occupiers consolidating into fewer hubs and new schemes coming online. Around 180 of these warehouses, or 44% of the total, are classed as modern, having been developed in the last five years. However, some markets are better supplied with newer space than others.
