The September Los Angeles County jobs report was issued by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics after a two-month delay caused by the federal government's shutdown. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Los Angeles County held steady at 5.7%, unchanged from August but down from 6.1% a year earlier.
