JLL makes senior Goldman Sachs hire in France
JLL has appointed Romain Juge as director in its debt advisory team, becoming the firm's first dedicated team member in France. He joins from Goldman Sachs, where he was senior associate in real estate debt capital markets for four years. In that role he helped arrange financings for its alternative wealth management real estate investing activities across Europe. Edward Daubeney, co-head of debt and structured finance, capital markets, EMEA, said: "His proven track record in real estate debt capital markets, combined with his deep understanding of European markets, positions us perfectly to serve our growing client base across France and the broader region."
PGIM names head of France real estate
Zineb Jamaï has been appointed head of France in PGIM's real estate business. She joined the company in 2015 and was promoted after serving as head of transactions for France, Spain, and Portugal. Jamaï leads PGIM's investment and asset management portfolios in France. She will source and execute transactions in France under the responsibility of Nabil Mabed, head of value-add equity for Europe. Jamaï is based in London and has more than 17 years of experience in this role, having held senior positions at Colliers International and Unibail-Rodamco before joining PGIM. She has played a "decisive" role in the growth of PGIM's real estate portfolio in France.
Colliers bolsters capital advisory platform with double hire
Colliers Capital Advisory has strengthened its platform with the appointment of real estate finance specialists Azeemeh Zaheer and Edward Raynor. The business said the hires will "enhance its ability to deliver innovative, funding solutions across the capital stack, for clients navigating large, complex, and high impact business challenges". Zaheer joins as a director, relocating from the US where she served as chief business officer and head of private equity at AMSYS Group. She has more than 20 years of global C-suite experience in asset management and investment banking. Raynor joins the debt and structured finance team as an associate director.
Stockford Anderson hires former rugby pro and rebrands
Stockford Anderson, the London-based, specialist out-of-town retail and leisure investment agency, has recruited former professional rugby star Alistair Crossdale. During his sporting career, Crossdale played for Sale, Saracens and Perpignan. The recruit joins as the business, comprising investment agency specialists Matthew Stockford, Tom Watson and James Welch, rebrands to Moreton Property. Stockford, a partner, said: "He is now looking to prop up the Moreton Property team, help us outflank the competition and try to lock into further high value deals to drive-over the line. We think after he converts a few transactions, he will be hooked."
Graham & Sibbald buys property consultancy
Graham and Sibbald has bought JMP Construction and Property Consultants and its sister company SID Asset Management, with managing partner Calum Campbell saying it allows the firm to "diversify into a new areas". The acquisition follows the purchase of Aitchison Raffety in September and means it now has a combined business with more than 400 employees operating out of 26 locations across the UK. It also increases Graham and Sibbald’s revenue to over £35 million a year. JMP is a chartered surveyor practice specialising in stock condition surveys, quantity surveying, energy performance certificates and drone surveys.
Panattoni hires nine across UK
Panattoni has made nine senior appointments across its UK development, project delivery and investment and finance teams, including the double hire of Chris Brown and Chris Thrippleton from Chancerygate, who join as development director and senior project manager respectively. Alex Selwood joins as associate director from CBRE and Will Fennell joins as development manager, South East and London, from Montagu Evans. Phil Beato becomes as project delivery director, having been at Boreal IM. Tom Bird joins in the same role from Savills. In the capital markets team, Phoebe Burdett joins as capital markets analyst from Knight Frank. Garrick Pepper joins as associate director and Zachary Atkinson as an associate.
Midlands property firm makes four senior promotions
Midlands land and property expert Sheldon Bosley Knight has made four senior promotions to its commercial property team, including Mark Treadwell. He leads the firm’s commercial division and becomes a partner, while Amy Burgess, Ben Maiden and Ed Abrams are all promoted to associate director. The firm said the promotions "reflect both individual excellence and the continued expansion of the firm’s commercial property services". Treadwell's promotion follows his work to expand the commercial team's client portfolio.
