A newly built industrial development in El Paso, Texas, could bring new jobs to the area and fuel growth in other sectors, such as multifamily, office and retail. The deal was awarded a 2023 CoStar Impact Award by an independent panel of industry professionals within the market.

The 209,300-square-foot El Paso Logistics Building B is fully leased to an undisclosed tenant and marks the first completed building in the El Paso Logistics Business Park.

El Paso Logistics Business Park is expected to eventually have more than 1 million square feet of industrial space available.

About the project: Flint Development completed El Paso Logistics Building B in November 2022. The building features 33 external docks, six drive-ins and a fast-response sprinkler system.

What the judges said: “This site pushes the boundary for development in East El Paso as the locations expand eastward on Gateway Boulevard. Connecting between Horizon and El Paso, this is very impactful for the community,” said Scott Lynch, an economics and finance faculty member at the University of Texas at El Paso.

They made it happen: CBRE El Paso Executive Vice President William Caparis secured the lease for El Paso Logistics Business Park.
