About 30 employees of developer CIM in Phoenix recently lent several helping hands to a nonprofit organization that aids people with Down syndrome and their families.

CIM's Partner Solutions Group volunteered at GiGi's Playhouse in Scottsdale, Arizona. Founded by Nancy Gianni, in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, Gigi's Playhouse's Down Syndrome Achievement Centers are places for "families and the community to celebrate children and adults with Down syndrome," according to the organization's website. Gigi's operates more than 50 play centers across the country and one in Mexico.

In a LinkedIn post, Los Angeles-based CIM said its team of volunteers "helped clean the facility and organize the fitness studio, which provides free fitness programs to address common issues for individuals with Down Syndrome."

CIM team members in Phoenix also recently volunteered at Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit organization dedicated to tackling world hunger. CIM said its workers helped pack 130 boxes of food that would feed 76 children in developing nations a daily meal for a year.

"We love seeing our teams come together to support meaningful causes!" CIM said.
