Savills launches industrial performance group; JLL expands hotel property team; Trademark adds trio of executives 

Savills launched a new operations performance service focused on its industrial real estate clients. It's led by Wonil Gregg. A senior vice president in the firm's Phoenix office, Gregg has held prior logistics-focused positions at DC Perform, Insight Sourcing Group and JDA Software. The new performance service is part of Savills' supply chain practice and will advise clients on the design and operation of distribution and manufacturing facilities, the brokerage said.

The new service team also includes Helgi Thor Leja, vice president of client experience, and Stuart Plath, senior director of engineering. The team has decades of combined supply chain, engineering and industrial design experience, representing clients such as Topgolf Callaway Brands, L'Occitane, MSC Industrial and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Louis Barruel has joined Chicago-based JLL's hotels and hospitality group as a senior vice president within its hotel asset management division, as the company seeks to expand its Canadian portfolio. Barruel, a 14-year industry veteran, is based in the Montreal office and held prior senior positions at firms including HVS Consulting & Valuation, InnVest Hotels, Carbonleo and Artifact Group.

Fort Worth, Texas-based mixed-use development and investment firm Trademark Property Co. said it appointed Scott Elrod as chief financial officer, Erick Klafter as senior vice president of property and asset management, and Haas Sulheri as director of construction. Elrod held prior leadership roles at CBRE, USAA and Clarion Partners. Klafter previously worked at CenterCal Properties and Northwood Retail, and Sulheri worked at Hines and Howard Hughes Holdings.

Duane Anderson joined the multifamily investment team at Colliers as a senior associate in Orlando, as the firm looks to expand its Central Florida services in that property category. Anderson has nearly 10 years of industry experience and previously worked at Marcus & Millichap.

Real estate services firm Cresa acquired data analytics firm Bluechip Insights and hired Dave Sawdey as vice president to lead the expanded team. Based in Chicago, Sawdey joined Cresa from Avison Young after earlier work at JLL, where he served as director of business intelligence.

Jerome Abood joined NAI Mid-Michigan as a commercial real estate adviser as the firm expands services in the Lansing region. Abood's 35-year career includes prior work at Abood Commercial, where he served as a principal owner, as well as stints at AQRE Advisors and API Commercial.

Pappas Properties, a developer of mixed-use and wellness-focused properties across the Southeast, hired Garrett Maravetz as senior vice president of retail development. The Charlotte, North Carolina-based company said Maravetz will handle duties such as site selection, acquisition, construction and leasing. He previously served as a real estate manager at grocery store chain Harris Teeter, a subsidiary of Kroger.

General contractor Suffolk Construction hired Sean DeMartino as general manager for Central Florida and promoted Ben Wilson to the role of general manager for the Gulf Coast. The Boston-based company said the two have a combined 50 years of experience, with DeMartino based in Tampa and Wilson based in Estero, Florida.
