Knight Frank, the global property adviser, has appointed Jonathan Eastwood to lead its Retail & Leisure Leasing division.
The appointment follows recent hires to the team including Oliver Green as partner, Mike Bumford as associate and Ryan Mak as surveyor.
Eastwood has joined Knight Frank with 25 years of specialist experience in the Central London retail sector, coming from CBRE where he was a senior figure in the London Retail Leasing team for over 11 years.
He has worked with developers and investors on some of London’s most iconic retail and leisure properties, having recently provided advice to Shaftesbury Capital (Covent Garden), Federated Hermes (Regent St & Coventry St), City of London (New Bond Street), CBRE IM (Regent St)reet, CIT, Tristan, Pella and global retail occupiers. Prior to his role at CBRE, he was an equity partner at Capital Retail and spent several years at Dalgleish.
Charlie Barke, head of Retail Capital Markets at Knight Frank, said in a statement that Eastwood's "proven expertise and strong knowledge of the retail industry will be of immense benefit to our valued clients and across our network".
“As we continue to find occupational markets far more robust than we have for many years, the team expansion comes at an important time, reflecting our commitment to remain at the forefront of change across the retail sector, and continue to deliver strategic advice for landlords and tenants across the capital.”
Eastwood added: “I have admired the business and culture for several years and look forward to providing clients with best-in-class advice and insight, and playing a key role in the wider team’s future successes.”
