Luci Smith, an executive with a Blackstone-owned operator of last-mile industrial real estate holdings, was appointed vice chair of Building Owners and Managers Association International last week.
Smith, a director for New York-based Link Logistics' property management department, is the third woman to serve as vice chair in BOMA International's 116-year history, according to the association.
Smith, who is based in Orlando, Florida, served as a BOMA Fellow. She has been working as Link Logistics director of property management for nearly four years. Smith also served in the U.S. Army and worked at CBRE, East Group Properties and Duke Realty, according to her LinkedIn profile.
“I am proud to represent Link Logistics and BOMA Orlando as Vice Chair for 2023-2024 and proud my company encourages our leadership development and gives us plenty of #spacetogrow,” Smith said on her LinkedIn page.
BOMA International staff said that Smith, in addition to being the organization’s vice chair, will serve as co-chair of the Daniel J. Chancey Leadership Academy and chair of the Workforce Development Committee.
BOMA International is a trade organization representing owners, managers and other professionals of commercial real estate property types.
Link Logistics has 535 million square feet of facilities in development or under its management across the United States.
