An out of state buyer has paid $24.3 million for the Lumber Exchange, a 132-year-old, wedge-shaped building in downtown that gave Minneapolis the upper hand against its rival, St. Paul, in the cities' Victorian-era race to build Minnesota's first skyscraper.
