In 2018, Cleveland's Downtown submarket absorbed 435 residential units – about 40% more units than the second-highest submarket (Avon/Westlake). This is not surprising considering the high volume of new deliveries Downtown. Since 2016, Downtown added more than 2,000 units, or half of all new units added to the Cleveland metropolitan area in the same timeframe.
