A former executive of the now-liquidated retailer Toy R Us -- who formed a new company that owns the Toys R Us, Babies R Us and 20 other consumer brands -- may open stand-alone outlets, take space in existing spaces and start pop-up stores across the country in what could be a new U.S. retail chain model.
