1750 Howe Ave., known as the Landmark Building, was purchased for $20.5 million by a partnership between the Landmark Cos. of Laguna Hills and DRA Advisors Inc. of New York. Completed by Kimmel Construction in 1985, the building was previously owned by Howe Arden Associates, a partnership between Gary and Jack Kimmel, Gary Ravel, and the Shanrai family of Singapore. Mark Ziemendorf, John Frisch, and Kirk Lange of Cornish & Carey Commercial represented the seller. Ron Thomas and Kevin Partington of Colliers International represented Landmark/DRA, which has now purchased three buildings in Sacramento since mid-1998. Look for Landmark/DRA to purchase more buildings in 1999. By: Matthew Brookman (1/11/1999)
