US job openings fall as labor market shows signs of cooling

Available positions slipped to 7.35 million during June

Employers posted 7.35 million job openings in June, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Tuesday, marking a noticeable dip from the 7.5 million adjusted tally in May.
