JLL UK chief executive Stephanie Hyde plans to leave the business at the end of this month.
Staff were told via an internal email Friday. Matt Richards will replace Hyde as leader of the United Kingdom business, while retaining his responsibilities as chief executive of capital markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Hyde, who became the first female CEO at a major United Kingdom brokerage when she joined in 2021, is said to be leaving to pursue other opportunities.
She joined JLL from PwC following more than 25 years in professional services, replacing Chris Ireland as United Kingdom CEO. In 2023 she expanded her role to be CEO, Markets Advisory, EMEA alongside her United Kingdom CEO role.
Matt Richards joined JLL in 1998 after completing his master's degree in land management. He worked his way across capital markets before being promoted to lead the whole business in 2017. He also has oversight of JLL in the Nordics and Switzerland and its EMEA valuations function.
