Centro to Pay Off CMBS Loan with Sale Proceeds

Centro Retail Trust (CER) recently completed the sale of five shopping centers in the United States for an aggregate sale price of $74.3 million. The company said it would use the proceeds from this sale to repay the debt remaining on a CMBS loan relating to Centro's purchase of Galileo Shopping America Trust in May 2007.
