Muse partnerships lead returns to roots

Having worked on Singapore's mixed-use Paya Lebar Quarter during her time at Lendlease, Muse head of national partnerships Lisa Gledhill speaks to CoStar News' Top CREdentials podcast about returning to her roots more than a year into her new role.

The developer has a big hand in the reimagining of Bradford, Gledhill's home town, as well as a number of other cities and towns across the country that she says "need a leg-up" through regeneration projects led by public-private partnerships, such as ECF and Habiko.

In this month's episode, Gledhill describes the steps she took at the beginning of her career to set her up for management roles, having started in the built environment at global engineering firm Arup. She also contrasts the development approaches in the UK and Singapore, describing her time abroad as "extremely impactful".

She says: "I really hugely enjoyed it and learnt a lot about how to do things, how to do the same things in a slightly different environment and how to do different things in that environment as well, so it was very educational.
