Together, a London-based meeting and events operator founded by the former head of Convene UK, is set to launch a first site in the City of London.

The company, which is focused on providing and managing meetings and events space for corporate clients, has signed to lease around 20,000 square feet from The Shaw Foundation at 88 Wood Street.

It will occupy the entire first floor in the office building designed by the late Lord Richard Rogers, on a 10-year lease. The site is set to open in March 2026 and will be the group’s first location.

RX London and JLL acted for The Shaw Foundation on the deal. Newmark acted for Together.

Together was founded by Elliott Sparsis, who started the company after he left his role as chief executive of Cavendish Venues in April 2025. Prior to this, he spent over five years at global hospitality company Convene, where he held senior roles including head of UK and vice-president of real estate.

Sparsis also spent six years at Blackstone from 2012 to 2018, most recently as a senior asset manager, according to his LinkedIn profile.

When fit-out works complete, the venue will have a fully integrated 10 metre LED wall for immersive events in the main room, which will also have a 500-person theatre auditorium. There will also be as a second theatre for up to 300 people. The rooms will be joined by over 8,000 square feet of gallery space with room for up to 50 exhibition stands.

It will also have two integrated coffee bars, an in-house audio-visual team, event manager and on-site food and beverages in partnership with recognised chefs on a rotating basis.

Raymond Chan, chairman of The Shaw Foundation, said: "Working closely with our asset managers, Capital Real Estate Partners, we continue to implement our strategic business plan which is to create a best-in-class office destination. Our investment to date provides a BREEAM 'Excellent' rated building with exceptional amenities including a newly configured reception and end of trip facilities, a reFIT gym, 88 Beans reception café, a planned circa 2,000-square-foot communal roof terrace and 4,000-square-foot communal lounge on the 12th floor to be unveiled in 2026. Together is another part of our commitment to providing market-leading amenities for our occupiers."

Sparsis said: "This partnership with The Shaw Foundation allows us to deliver a venue that meets the growing demand for high-quality, professionally managed meeting and event spaces within prime London offices."

The Shaw Foundation is a charitable trust in Hong Kong that supports education, healthcare and community programmes worldwide. It focuses on scientific advancement and learning, as well as arts and culture education.

The foundation bought 88 Wood Street from Malaysian pension fund Kumpulan Wang Persaraan for around £270 million in 2016.

In November 2025, CoStar News revealed that The Shaw Foundation had signed a deal with Switzerland-based sports analytics group Sportradar for a 25,000-square-foot Europe, Middle East and Africa headquarters at the site.

This followed news that IG Group, a global online trading and investments group, had signed a deal to lease the 6th and 7th floors, as per a CoStar News exclusive from September 2025.
