WeWork unseats Soho House in £100m West End swoop

US co-working behemoth WeWork is making a major investment play in Soho, having agreed a deal to buy Nike’s current London headquarters on Wardour Street for around £100m, after a deal to sell the building to The Soho House Group, which runs members’ clubs, hotels and restaurants around the world, fell away, CoStar News can reveal.

Soho House, which operates popular London venues, including The Ned in The City, Dean Street Townhouse and Shoreditch House, went under offer earlier this year to buy the building – Film House on Wardour Street – for in excess of the £97m asking price. However, the deal did not complete.
