JLL's 'Mr Leeds' to retire from role
At the end of this month regional office agency expert Jeff Pearey, better known as 'Mr Leeds' to many, will retire from JLL after two decades at the company. Pearey, who is senior director, UK regional office agency at the firm, first joined JLL in 2006, when he became its only Leeds-based director.
At the same time as leading the company's operation in the city, he also managed its North East region, covering Yorkshire, Teesside, and Tyne and Wear at the same time as he built up his regional expertise.
JLL made Pearey head of UK regional office agency in 2020, handing him responsibility for seven regional teams representing the UK office agency business operating outside London and South East.
Pearey's wider real estate industry experience spans 40 years, including roles at St Quintin, now part of CBRE. He said on LinkedIn: "I’m leaving the business in good health and in very safe hands. I’ve enjoyed leasing offices, being a part of many developments and acquiring offices for some great occupiers."
DRC Savills Investment Management appoints managing partner
DRC Savills Investment Management has made Cyrus Korat, a founding member of DRC Capital, managing partner. Korat, who has 30 years of real estate and debt capital markets experience, co-founded DRC Capital in 2012 as an independent investment boutique prior to its acquisition by Savills IM, which started in 2018 and was completed in 2021. Dale Lattanzio, managing partner at DRC Savills Investment Management, will retire from the business to pursue opportunities outside real estate but will continue to sit on the investment committee. Michael Neal, the chief investment officer of Savills Investment Management, joins the investment committee.
LSH recruits associate director in North West
LSH has hired Alice Howarth as an associate director in the commercial property management team, growing its North West services. Howarth joins from the Boylin Group, where she spent 13 years working in the estates and office sector and has expertise in property management, regeneration, development, strategic planning and transactional services. She will be based between Leeds and Manchester and is studying for her real estate development and management degree. Jonathan Such, regional director and property management, said: “Her deep sector knowledge and extensive network will be invaluable as we continue to expand our commercial property management."
Redevco brings in head of asset and transaction management

Séverine Maumy has become Redevco's head of asset and transaction management. Maumy, who will be based in France, joins the firm's leadership team and investment committee and will report to Neil Slater, the chief executive. She was co-head portfolio manager at Barings Real Estate Advisers, where she was responsible for a €2.7 billion pan-European fund. She also served as managing director and country head France, having launched Barings’ French platform in 2015. The group said the appointment fits its drive to strengthen the platform’s capabilities across the full real estate life cycle and coincides with strategic expansion in the retail parks and logistics space.
Colliers director switches London for Edinburgh after 11 years

Colliers’ project and building consultancy team in Scotland has gained a director, Andy Holtby, from London. Originally from Scotland, Holtby will relocate to Edinburgh having spent 11 years in London, working with key clients such as Aberdeen, L&G and Shaftesbury Capital. His move back to Scotland comes after Colliers hired senior surveyor Alan McIntosh and graduate surveyor Benji Travis to the team. The firm said that Holtby would use his experience to form part of the Scotland PBC team’s leadership group, which is responsible for "growing market share and providing the full suite of project and building consultancy services to clients".
CBRE IM adds Dempsey to drive infrastructure capital raising

CBRE IM has named Nicholas Dempsey senior director and infrastructure specialist in its client solutions team. London-based Dempsey will be responsible for leading capital raising efforts across EMEA. He has 11 years of experience in real assets capital formation and investor relations and joins from Infracapital, where he was a senior member of the capital formation and investor relations team. He will help the firm's institutional clients eyeing infrastructure assets. David Son, head of infrastructure client solutions at CBRE IM, said in a statement: “Nicholas will play a key role in helping to grow this platform and connect clients with opportunities."
Wilton hires specialist industrial and logistics estates manager

Industrial property specialist Wilton Developments has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Chris Collins as asset management director. Collins has more than 15 years of industry experience, specialising in strategic asset management across a range of property sectors, but is best known for his work as an industrial and logistics estates manager. His previous roles include five years at Town Centre Securities, where he rose to associate director and head of asset management for Potter Space, the business park owner-operator. Wilton said Collins will be responsible for "delivering value across [our] expanding investment portfolio".
