Price Edwards & Company was recently appointed as receiver of the Crossroads Mall in Oklahoma City. Midwest Mall Properties ("MMP") acquired Crossroads from Macerich in December 2006, along with the Citadel Mall in Colorado Springs and Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville, AR, in a $375 million portfolio transaction. According to CoStar COMPS ID# 1211011, that transaction was financed by a $136 million loan from LaSalle National Bank. Built in 1973, Crossroads was Oklahoma City's first regional mall. Since acquiring the 1.1 million-square-foot mall, MMP has seen all four of its anchor stores (Macy's, JC Penney, Dillards, and Steve & Barry's) vacate. According to CoStar Property, the mall is currently 60.7% occupied.
