Cushman hires multifamily chief; JLL expands capital markets team; Peachtree Group names asset management executive
Cushman & Wakefield said it hired Sherry Freitas as its new national president of asset services, multifamily, to lead a division with more than 4,000 employees serving residential property management clients. Freitas has more than 20 years of industry experience, overseeing operations for more than 300,000 multifamily units.
Freitas held prior executive roles at major multifamily owners and developers, having most recently served as an executive vice president at Atlanta-based apartment giant Cortland. She also served in leadership roles at RangeWater Real Estate, Greystar and Wood Partners.
JLL expanded its debt and equity advisory team with the addition of Nazario Paragano in its Morristown, New Jersey, office. Paragano, a 15-year industry veteran, served most recently as vice president of acquisitions at Winfield Properties. Before that, he worked at Onyx Equities and PGIM Real Estate.
Atlanta-based investment firm Peachtree Group said it appointed Lindsay Monge as executive vice president of asset management to oversee hospitality and real estate assets. Monge, who has more than two decades of experience, most recently served as president of Seaview Investors, where he led operations for a hotel-focused portfolio in California.
New hires, promotions and other personnel changes
Boston-based logistics investment and development firm Cabot Properties said it named Bradford Otis to the newly created position of chief operating officer, and promoted Michael Gebo to head of asset management.
S3 Capital, a New York-based private real estate lender, appointed Michelle Fang as head of marketing and investor relations. Fang previously worked at firms including Principal Real Estate Investors and Metropolitan Real Estate Equity Management.
Dallas-based multifamily developer JPI hired Alvaro Sande as vice president of capital markets. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Sande will lead operations throughout the state, including land acquisition and development, JPI said, after he held prior roles at firms including UEB Builders and Katerra.
Pinnacle Advisory Group said it named 25-year industry veteran Sebastian Colella as a managing principal to lead the Boston-based hospitality property consulting firm effective Jan. 1, 2026. Company leader and founder Rachel Roginsky will transition to a role as senior adviser, Pinnacle said.
New Jersey-based retail real estate services provider Katz & Associates opened a new office in Atlanta with the hiring of well-established broker Julie Solomon as senior vice president and Claire Crawford as director. Both are formerly with The Trilogy Group and previously represented clients including Best Buy, Kohl’s and Chipotle Mexican Grill.
Cavan Finn and Jason Schrik joined as brokers for @properties Commercial, the commercial arm of Chicago-based brokerage @properties Christies International Real Estate.
