Orlando, FL-based Morrison Commercial Real Estate, a firm that was launched last summer by commercial real estate veteran, Greg Morrison, continues to strengthen by adding experienced associates to its staff. Damien Madsen, formerly with Flagler Development, is the latest to join the Morrison Commercial Real Estate team -- the firm added Christi Davis, CCIM, formerly of NAI Realvest, earlier this year as a vice president. Since then, the company has gained David Young as an associate of office leasing and sales and Kathy Moreno as a production assistant. The team also includes Emily Zinaich and Ginger Vetter; both have been with the company since its inception. Madsen's 21 years of experience in the Central Florida commercial real estate market includes the completion of nearly three million square feet of transactions valued at approximately $750 million. At Morrison, Madsen will focus on tenant representation and general brokerage. During his eight years at Flagler, Madsen was instrumental in the development and leasing nine office buildings totaling 1.3 million square feet at SouthPark Center, a major office park in the Southwest Orlando submarket. Aside from serving as senior director of leasing at Flagler, Madsen has held positions as senior vice president at Harbert Realty Services and executive director of Advantis Real Estate Services Company. Greg Morrison helped to launch Advantis' Orlando office and worked for the brokerage firm for many years before starting Morrison Commercial Real Estate. Madsen is a licensed Florida real estate broker and currently serves on NAIOP's Board of Trustees and Board of Governors. Additionally, he helps NAIOP in the planning of its annual Mixed Use Forum and has been selected as office broker of the year three times by the Central Florida Chapter of NAIOP.
