Global real estate adviser CBRE has appointed Richard Howard as an executive director in its West End investor leasing team, CoStar News can reveal.
CBRE said Howard – one of the London office leasing market's best known advisers – will be responsible for growing its prime leasing instruction base, bringing his "significant knowledge, expertise and client relationships to further add to the established team". He will form part of the London investor leasing senior leadership group.
He joins from Cushman & Wakefield where he led London leasing for several years and most recently, was managing partner for London & South East. He has 29 years’ experience and during this time, has specialised in leasing, design development and placemaking in London.
He has worked with clients across London, including Related Argent, Arax, Ashby Capital, Hines, Tishman Speyer, CBRE IM, Canary Wharf Group, WRE, Derwent London, Delancey, Landsec, Revantage and Yoo Capital. He has spearheaded the leasing campaigns for major projects including the regeneration of King’s Cross and Olympia, Wood Wharf in Canary Wharf and Brent Cross Town.
