Hotels must be considered if there is a business rates U-turn

Flawed rates valuations are adversely hitting hotels

Like pubs, the hotel industry is another “big loser” from the 2026 business rates revaluation. Rateable Values have increased by 76% across the country, according to the new draft list, with some increases for individual hotels reaching over 250%.
