Boston College Buys Apts. From Tishman/Lehman JV

Student Housing Complex Trades for $67 Million

Boston College purchased an apartment complex at 2000 Commonwealth Ave. in Brighton, MA, from Tishman Speyer and Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. for $67 million, or approximately $356,383 per unit. The acquisition brings the college 78% to 85% closer to fulfilling its 10-year goal of having 100% housing for its 9,000 students.
