After Record Year of Job Gains in 2021, Employment Remains Below Pre-Pandemic Level

San Francisco’s total employment did not add as many jobs last year as originally expected. The annual labor market revisions made by the Bureau of Labor Statistics released in this month showe that the San Francisco region added around 3,000 fewer jobs in 2021 than first reported.
