Planning for Veridea, a massive mixed-use development in Apex, North Carolina, began in 2011 but years went by with few public updates. That changed early last year when New York-based real estate development company RXR purchased the 1,100-acre site. Earlier this month, RXR released the latest renderings of the planned project and said it intends to begin putting in roads and site infrastructure later this year.
