Navitas Systems purchased a high-tier distribution facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for approximately $5 million to handle the increased demand of its Starlifter line of lithium forklift batteries. The deal comes on the heels of its initial expansion into Michigan in early 2018 when it leased 48,000 square feet near the Ann Arbor Municipal Airport for a research and development and manufacturing building.
