Officials from California's Placer County and commercial real estate investment firm Buzz Oates have kicked off work on Placer Commerce Center with a ceremonial groundbreaking April 22. The planned 393-acre business park near the future Sacramento State Placer campus is expected to bring a mix of light industrial, manufacturing, research and warehouse spaces; work on a foundation is planned for this spring.
