Home Depot Closing Call Centers in Chicago, Dallas and Tampa

Job Loss at the Chain Nears 2,000 This Year

Home Depot (NYSE:HD), the country's largest home improvement retailer, announced Tuesday plans to close three call centers in Tampa, Chicago and Dallas. A total of 950 employees will be affected by the closings scheduled for the end of January 2008.
