The coronavirus pandemic is taking its toll on the U.S. economy, and the sectors arguably the hardest hit are retail services and leisure and hospitality. With nonessential travel almost entirely canceled, bars and shops closed and restaurants either shuttered or working at limited capacity, markets with economies driven by tourism are seeing some of the highest levels of job losses.
